ERP Systems
ERP software development
We build custom ERP systems that match how your business actually operates — inventory, purchasing, production and reporting in one place, without forcing your process to fit someone else's software. A focused first release typically ships in 6–12 weeks.
What we build
Most companies outgrow spreadsheets long before they can justify SAP or Oracle. The gap in between is where off-the-shelf ERP hurts most: you pay for hundreds of modules you will never open, then pay again to bend the ones you need into shape. A custom ERP inverts that. You get the modules your operation runs on, wired to the systems you already use, and nothing else.
Inventory and stock control
Multi-warehouse stock, transfers, batch and serial tracking, reorder points, stock takes and variance reporting. Real-time levels that reconcile with what is physically on the shelf.
Purchasing and suppliers
Purchase requisitions, approval chains, supplier records, price lists, goods-received notes and three-way matching against invoices.
Production and assembly
Bills of materials, work orders, routing, wastage tracking and cost roll-up so you know the true landed cost of a finished unit.
Sales and fulfilment
Quotes, orders, picking, packing, dispatch and returns — connected to stock so availability is never guessed.
Unified reporting
One reporting layer across every module. Margin by product, stock ageing, supplier performance and cash position, without exporting to a spreadsheet first.
Roles and permissions
Granular access so warehouse staff, buyers, finance and management each see exactly what they should — and an audit trail for everything that changes.
Who this is for
- Manufacturers and assemblers who need real production costing, not estimates
- Distributors and wholesalers running multiple warehouses or locations
- Retail groups whose stock, sales and purchasing live in separate systems
- Businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets but find full-suite ERP oversized and overpriced
How an ERP build runs
Process mapping
We walk your actual workflow — receiving, storage, production, dispatch — and document where data is entered twice, lost, or reconciled by hand. This is where most of the eventual value is found.
Phased first release
We ship the module that removes the most manual work first, usually inventory or purchasing, so something useful is live in weeks rather than at the end of a year-long programme.
Migration and parallel run
Existing stock, supplier and product data is migrated and validated. Where risk is high, the new system runs alongside the old one until the numbers agree.
Rollout and handover
Training for each role, documentation in your hands, and a support plan covering monitoring, backups and continuous improvement.
Integrations we handle regularly
Where a system has no API, we build the bridge ourselves.
What it costs
We quote per project after the scoping call, because an honest number depends on scope rather than a price list. These are the factors that move it most:
- Number of modules in the first release — inventory only costs far less than inventory plus production plus finance
- How much historical data must be migrated and cleaned
- Number of integrations with systems you already run
- Whether you need multi-warehouse, multi-currency or multi-entity support
Engagements run as a fixed-scope project, a dedicated team on monthly contract, or an ongoing support & care plan.
Questions
How long does a custom ERP take to build?
A focused first module typically ships in 6–12 weeks. A full multi-module ERP is phased across several releases so value arrives early and continuously, rather than in one large launch at the end.
Is custom ERP cheaper than SAP or Odoo?
Licence cost is usually lower because you are not paying per seat for modules you never use, but the honest answer depends on scope. Custom wins clearly when your process is genuinely unusual, or when off-the-shelf customisation quotes start exceeding the cost of building exactly what you need.
Can it work with our existing accounting software?
Almost always. We regularly integrate with accounting packages so that invoices, payments and journals flow automatically rather than being rekeyed. Where no API exists, we build the connector.
